Sing Fuels welcomes Ms Sushmita Basukinath Rai as Bunker Analyst with effect from 1 August 2016. She will be based in Mumbai, India.

Sushmita has over 6 years of professional work experience across market and business research, commodities and building materials domains. She holds a graduate Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University and is currently in her last year of pursuing a Masters’ degree in Financial Management.

At the outset of her career, she spent the initial two years working in business research focusing on the financial domain. She gained exposure to the bunker industry handling global clientele during her three years at Petromedia Group. Additionally, she had spent 1.5 years with CW Group, a boutique consultancy in the building materials space, working across products including cement, concrete and petroleum coke. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and had presented both in India and abroad on subjects including price assessments and outlook of energy products.
