The role:
• As a Bunker Trader you will be stationed either in the home or host country and operate company’s representative office as a separate P/L
• You are expected to have an existing client base where you sell based on personal relationships and ensure continued patronage from both customers and local suppliers

Requirements:
• You will be required to have been educated to a high standard and hold a degree qualification or equivalent in Shipping
• You are required to have had previous experience in a Bunker Trader position with an International Bunker Trading Company or a Physical Supplied
• As a Bunker Trader you will need to be organised and capable of maintaining CRM (customer relationship management) systems and good general administrative skills
• You must be outgoing and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• You must be able to present information to clients in a concise manner and have a goodsales technique
• A Bunker Trader is required to negotiate rates with suppliers and so you must havestrong negotiation skills and a good understanding of the shipping industry

Junior Bunker Trader with Experience
The role:
- Work closely with Senior Bunker Traders to secure new business, maintain and develop solid relationships with clients and key business contacts to effectively deliver excellent trading services to meet customer satisfaction.
- Preferably has an existing client base.
- Become familiar with the customers, suppliers, barge operators, port authorities, surveyors, and become a reliable point of contact for customer requests and transactions.
- Understand the basic bunker purchasing process and terms commonly used and assist in presale and pre/post delivery information gathering and follow-up.
- Conduct market researches and prospect for new business. Develop and maintain a portfolio of your own customers and suppliers.
- Daily duties will include active brokering / trading on behalf of clients ensuring optimum rates that benefit both the company and the client
- Assist/support trading team with ad-hoc duties when required.

The role:
- In this role, you will be reporting to the Managing Director – Bunkers and be responsible for driving and implementing the sales and strategy of lubricants in Singapore and across the SEA region. Some of the core duties of the role include:
- To develop lubricant related business in the Lubricant markets for Singapore, and involve actively in regional project pursuit
