Sing Fuels
Corporate Social
Responsibility
At Sing Fuels we take every chance we get to give back to the community. We cherish the memory of every person we meet and they each hold a special place in our hearts.

We humbly take joy in bringing smiles and happiness to those we have been fortunate enough to meet and look forward to doing even more in the future.

Spreading A Bit Of Joy Along The Way

At Sing Fuels, we strongly believe in giving back to the society in which we operate in. We are committed in extending a helping hand to children’s welfare and elderly care within our community. We dedicate our efforts to programs and events that are close to our hearts.

Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home

Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home Limited was set up to provide quality nursing home, centre-based and in-community care for our seniors to meet the demands of an ageing population in Singapore.

Chinese New Year invites families to reunite and spend quality time together. It is the time of the year when families make it a point to catch up and appreciate one another albeit their busy schedules. Sing Fuels understands that often, many loved ones are warded in various institutions, making it difficult for the entire family to come together.

Team of Sing Fuels initiative at Thye Hua Kwan Nursing Home not only brought festive cheer to the seniors at the home but also had the opportunity to understand the importance of family unity. “Today, I got the chance to celebrate with other people. I am extremely thankful to see everyone laughing and being merry!”, said our Marketing & Communications Manager, Ms. Jez. On this festive and auspicious occasion, Sing Fuels’ hopes that its family keeps growing internally and externally!

Dignity Kitchen

Project Dignity’s mission is to restore dignity to the differently-abled and disadvantaged through vocation with passion.

They provide sponsored training for unemployed adults with special needs and place them with employment partners within the F&B, hospitality and retail sectors. They also hire some graduates at food court and book retail stores.

“We as a society are constantly striving to be the best in whatever we do. We always want to be triumphant. But more than often, we fail to realize and take it for granted that there is a group of people out there who cannot necessarily achieve the same. Failing to acknowledge this aspect of our society would be deemed as lack of empathy, and that is not what we foster.” – We quote our Director, Mr Satnam Singh.

To witness Dignity Kitchen in actively seeing the abilities instead of the disabilities of a disadvantaged individual and training them to circumvent in the employment world touched team Sing Fuels’ hearts.

It was a heartwarming moment to catch the food stall vendors grow increasingly excited at taking our orders and preparing the meals for the elderly customers. We could not resist and joined them in a karaoke session and went back home with our hearts filled laughter and appreciation.

Salvation Army, Haven

The Haven is a residential home to care for children and young people who are unable to be cared for by their own families. They provide a comprehensive residential care programme, specially designed and directed towards preparing their reintegration into the community and reunion with their families.

Christmas time couldn’t have been the same for the underprivileged if not for The Salvation Army. Sing Fuels was exhilarated in creating a special Christmas themed schedule to spread joy to these children and young people who were unable to return home during the festive period.

Christmas dinner, beautifully wrapped presents and a ride along Orchard Road was arranged to lighten their moods and bring everyone closer together. No words can truly justify the Team’s immense joy in seeing the youth so elated with the efforts. We hope the day was as memorable for them as it was for us.

Children’s Wishing Well

Website: https://www.wishingwell.org.sg/

Children’s Wishing Well is a non-profit organisation and registered charity which was founded in 2002. They provide a broad range of services for children and youth from low-income families nationwide. The organisation supports their current educational and daily living needs, and equip them with skills for their future, so as to build a strong foundation for them to contribute as useful members of society.

Sing Fuels strongly believes in investing in its people. It understands the imperativeness in nurturing our youth who would then be championing the future of our company/nation in the days to come. Hence, the team could relate to the activities of Children’s Wishing Well and did not wait long to reach out to them.

Interacting with the enthusiastic children and watching them unwrap their surprise gifts animatedly brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Their priceless laughter moved us all and was the best ‘door-gift’ the team could ask for.

Some Of The New Friends We Have Made

Each month, a colleague selects a charity and we make a one time donation to them. We look forward to sharing more special times and making new friends along the way. Below are the organisations that we’ve helped and made people smile.
